Human Resources and Administrative Officer for Emergency Response Team

The International Rescue Committee - IRC serves refugees and communities victimized by oppression or violent conflict worldwide. IRC is seeking a energetic, highly organized and experienced administrator to support the Emergency Response Team based in Bangkok. The Human Resources and Administrative Officer will arrange the human resources management including with office administrative support process for emergency response team to ensure handle in professionally manner.

Human Resources and Administrative Officer for Emergency Response Team

Location: Bangkok Office, Emergency Response Team – International Rescue Committee

Reports to: Emergency Response Team Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management
• Handle complete system for staff recruitment
• Manage payroll with staff benefits and compensation together with taxes calculation
• Conduct orientation for new hire staff and handle exit process for departure staff
• Assist expatriate staff and Burmese with resident visas, work permits, and other legal issues.

General office management administration:
• Provide full functional administrative support to the emergency response team.
• Meet with building office management company about general rules and regulations
• Manage, review and negotiate office lease and expatriate lease agreement
• Flight booking and hotel accommodation arrangement for ERT staff and visitors
• Identify damaged equipment and arrange for repair or replacement
• Organize staff meetings, including workshop arrangement
• Control office central filing system

Requirements
• At least 3 years experience in Human Resources and Office Administration Management
(NGO is preferably)
• A minimum degree in Business Administration
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Written and spoken fluency in English and Thai
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability of planning, organizing, follow-up, meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities are essential.
• Cooperative manner, flexibility and dependability
• Able to work under pressure, details oriented and administration tasks
• Strong computer skills such as MS office
